I had a great meeting with Linda Herbert from the Livingston 4C (Community Coordinated Child Care). She mentioned their annual parent conference that is held in November that over 2000 people attend and wondered if I'd be interested in speaking at it. Yes, yes, yes!! Now to think of a compelling topic and work out the details so I can submit it. What would parents want to hear about? How to guide their child rather than direct them (very hard to do at first!)? Or ways to encourage their child's individual talents? I come up with ideas but do parents want or need ideas on these topics? Let me know what you would want to learn more about.
This would be a great opportunity to use all the brain based learning techniques that I have learned with adults. It would be great fun!
