There is nothing quite as uplifting then listening to children's music.  My sister-in-law was saying how they were tired of listening to the same music for Julien so I got
out my CD's that my students enjoyed when I taught Kindergarten.  It was fun listening to tunes I haven't heard in awhile - each one brought back wonderful memories and made me smile.  My students really enjoyed these CD's. They would request them over and over again so I made each one a CD of their favorites for the end of the school year so they could still listen to them over the summer and beyond.  Some of their favorites (and mine) were:

• The Marvelous Toy, Boa Constrictor by Peter, Paul and Mary on the Peter, Paul and Mommy CD
• 4 Hugs a Day, I am a Pizza, Octopus, Looking for Dracula, May There Always be Sunshine by Charlotte Diamond on the 10 Carrot Diamond CD
• The Hippopotamus Song, Singin' in the Bathtub, A - You're Adorable and I had a Rooster song by John Lithgow on Singin' in the Bathtub CD
• The More We Get  Together and If you Believe sung by Jack Grunsky on the Dreamcatcher CD.

I have since downloaded them to my iTunes and listen to them whenever I need a shot of happiness.  Try it - I'm sure they will bring a smile to your face too!
